It is not possible to answer the phone during class, but I make a point to answer emails promptly – usually within 24 hours, unless it is received over a weekend or holiday in which case I will reply on the next school day. Many situations are better discussed over the phone and in person, and in those instances, I’ll be happy to use email to set up a convenient time to hold the conference.
